SeriesABC is planning a ‘Good Doctor’ spin-off
The chain plans a series derived from that with Freddie Highmore whose heroine will be a lawyer.

Broadcast since 2017, the medical series “Good Doctor” (to see on RTS 1 and TF1) with newlywed Freddie Highmore will probably be entitled to its spin-off, learned Deadline. According to information from the site, the ABC channel has ordered a pilot of a soap opera whose title will be “The Good Lawyer” and whose hero will be a heroine.
The main character of the spin-off series, a 20-something lawyer named Joni, will be introduced in the 13th episode of Season 6 of “Good Doctor.” The young woman, suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder, will be hired by Shaun Murhpy (Freddie Highmore) to defend him.
The Lawyer is portrayed as a funny, impatient, and somewhat anxious person, but who refuses to be treated differently from others. The casting is underway to find the one who will play this role.
