A new classical music festival in Epalinges
Les Musicales d’Epalinges offers the public, from March 7 to 12, “singular” classical works performed by virtuoso artists.
Epalinges, on the heights of Lausanne, is hosting a new classical music festival on Tuesday. Over six days and therefore until Sunday March 12, the Musicales d’Epalinges offer “singular, demanding and sometimes little-known classical works, always performed by virtuoso artists, in order to open up new musical horizons to all public”.
It is the association Ensemble enScène and the Lausanne pianist Cédric Pescia who are at the origin of this festival. On the program during the week: Tchaikovsky, Schubert, Haydn, Beethoven, Bach and Schumann in particular.
The concerts take place every evening from 8:00 p.m. in the Epalinges performance hall. Mediation workshops will also be organized for students of music schools, the organizers said in a press release.
