Kochi: The crime branch will question actor Dileep, the eighth accused in the case of attacking the actress, again tomorrow. The interrogation is part of the ongoing investigation into the case. Dileep is being questioned in the light of new evidence found on the basis of director Balachandra Kumar’s revelations. The main objective is to find out whether Dileep is in possession of the footage of the attack on the actress.
Director Balachandra Kumar had alleged that Dileep was in possession of the footage of the attack on the actress. Following this, the crime branch recorded Balachandra Kumar’s secret statement. Although Dileep had approached the high court against the probe, the court directed that the probe be continued. Further investigation should be completed before April 15.
Dileep will also be sought for information on allegations that the footage of the attack on the actress was leaked from the court. The forensic report of Dileep’s phones will also be crucial in the interrogation.
