ADNOC Logistics and Services announced that it had obtained a contract worth 3.588 billion dirhams to carry out construction work on an artificial island from ADNOC Marine.
And according to a statement issued yesterday, according to the contract, ADNOC Supply will carry out dredging, land reclamation and construction of marine facilities for the artificial “G” island, in the “Lower Zakum” offshore field.
At least 75% of the contract value will be redirected to the local economy through ADNOC’s In-Country Value programme.
The awarding of this contract is a major achievement within ADNOC Supply and Services’ strategy to explore new opportunities and areas for growth in line with its plans to achieve continuous significant growth, which includes expansion in new sectors, through the company’s integrated logistics unit.
ADNOC Supply aims to expand its share in the engineering and procurement contract services market for offshore areas, as this market is expected to witness significant growth in the region in the coming years.
