This Friday on the Platform program, the university professor, Vicente Cuchillas, indicated that in the elections of February 4 there was a direct situation against the Constitution of the Republic, for which he questioned: “how much is Expressing the legality of this process?†. In addition, he considered it important to analyze the entire electoral process to declare its legitimacy.
“The repeal of article 291 of the Electoral Code, changes could be made in the electoral processes that affected the opposition parties, which questions their legitimacy because they did not have equal conditions,†the teacher mentioned.
Cuchillas assured that the objectives of President Nayib Bukele and his party were to demonstrate that the Salvadoran population in general supports his management, and in these elections to eliminate the opposition parties.
On the other hand, he pointed out that the voting abroad had several indications, such as the electoral roll, the formation of the JRVEX, and the ambassador of El Salvador in the United States, Milena Mayorga, getting involved in the electoral process.
Likewise, he considered that there is a manipulated vote and a vote of fear due to the type of campaign that Nuevas Ideas managed.
“CID Gallup launched an exit poll, and the president disclosed these data, even though the only one that can provide these results is the TSE, this situation has caused these elections to be neither legitimate nor legal,†the teacher stated.
