The AEW Revolution 2023 Pre-Show begins with several promo videos for the PPV fights and then we have the first fight of the night.

Trios Match

Tony Nese, Josh Woods and Ari Daivari vs. Mark Briscoe, Penta El Zero M and Rey Fenix

At the end of the match, Penta El Zero M uses his Fear Factor on Ari Daivari then Mark Briscoe continues with his Froggy Bow for the victory.

AEW Revolution 2023 San Francisco, Californie, 5 mars 2023

The commentators are Taz, Tony Schiavone and Excalibur.

Chris Jericho vs Ricky Starks
The Jericho Appreciation Society will be banned from ringside.

At the end of the match, Ricky Starks blocks a Judas Effect attempt from Chris Jericho then he lands several punches to knock him out and he finishes with his Roshambo for the win.

Jungle Boy vs Christian Cage

At the end of the match, Jungle Boy lands a Con-Chair-To on Christian’s skull then he rams him into the coffin and closes it for the win.

Championnat Trios AEW

The Elite © (Matt, Nick Jackson et Kenny Omega) vs House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King et Buddy Matthews)

At the end of the match, Malakai Black rings Matt Jackson with his Black Mass then Buddy Matthews lifts him Suplex style to transfer him to Brody King who continues with a Piledriver for the victory.

Winners and New Champions: House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King and Buddy Matthews)

Triple Threat Women’s Championship

Saraya vs Jamie Hayter (c) vs Ruby Soho

At the end of the match, Jamie Hayter surprises Ruby Soho with a Crucifix Pin for the three count and the win.

After the match, Saraya and Toni Storm tackle Jamie Hayter and Britt Baker, but Ruby Soho makes the save by getting rid of Saraya and Storm. Ruby Soho is then celebrating with Jamie Hayter and Britt Baker, when suddenly she wears a No Future at the first quoted. Britt Baker tries to go after Ruby Soho, but she quickly gets knocked down with a Bladerunner. Ruby Soho empties a spray paint on the two women’s bodies and they then celebrate with Saraya and Toni Storm.

Texas Death Match

Jon Moxley vs Adam Hangman Page

At the start of the match, Adam Page got the better of Jon Moxley then he grabbed a barbed wire and rubbed it against his opponent’s forehead, who quickly found himself cut open and bleeding.

During the match, Jon Moxley threw Adam Page from the rope tropism directly onto a board covered with barbed wire and which was positioned between two chairs. The referee then does the count, but Adam Page gets up before the count of 10.

At the end of the match, Adam Page stuns Jon Moxley with a Buckshot Lariat then he knocks him out of the ring, but doesn’t let go, as he has a steel chain wrapped around his neck which he pulls for him. strangle and Jon Moxley has no choice but to give up.

TNT Championship

Samoa Joe © vs Wardlow

At the end of the match, Wardlow got out of a Powerbomb attempt by Samoa Joe then he stunned him with a Headbutt and surprised him with a Coquina Clutch for a victory by referee stoppage, as Joe passed out.

AEW World Tag Team Championship – 4-Way Tag Team Match

Jeff Jarrett et Jay Lethal vs The Gunns (Austin et Colten Gunn) (c) vs The Acclaimed (Max Caster et Anthony Bowens) vs Danhausen et Orange Cassidy

At the end of the match, Austin and Colten Gunn carry their 3: 10 to Yuma on Danhausen then the first city makes the fall for the victory.

Winners: The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn)

After the game, the Gunns are telling Renee Paquette that they are the best and they are the best team in the world when suddenly the music of FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) hits. Both men tackle the Gunns, carry a Piledriver on Colten and carry the Big Rig on Austin. FTR then celebrate with the tag team titles.

Iron Man Match AEW Championship

MJF © vs Bryan Danielson

At the start of the match, Bryan Danielson technically took the upper hand over MJF with numerous submission-taking transitions, but the young world champion managed to get out of it each time somehow thanks to his deceit.

Also during the match, MJF dodges a Suicide Dive attempt by Bryan Danielson which lands hard against the barricade. MJF then puts Bryan Danielson back in the ring and hits him with a Hammerlock DDT. MJF then attempts the pinfall, but Bryan Danielson resists.

With 40 minutes left in the match, MJF launches into Asai Moonsault, but Bryan Danielson dodges the attack and goes back into the ring to launch into Suicide Dive on MJF who was coming to his senses after landing hard on his knee.

In the 26th minute, Bryan Danielson rang MJF with a powerful Lariat then he got up and continued with his Busaiku Knee. Bryan Danielson then pinned for the first point. Right after, Bryan Danielson prepares again for another Busaiku Knee, but MJF falls to the ground. When Danielson tries to pick him up, MJF kicks him in the games, which causes a disqualification and earns Danielson a second point.

MJF wastes no time and performs a Small Package to get his first point then he performs another pinfall to get a second and equalizes.

While there are 24 minutes left, Bryan Danielson is positioned on a table outside the ring then MJF climbs on the third rope and he launches into an Elbow Drop on the American Dragon. MJF goes back to the ring with the referee and he asks him to do the count, but Bryan Danielson manages to come back before the end of this count.

While there are 20 minutes left, MJF blocks a Bryan Danielson in very bad shape against the ropes then he hits him with a violent Piledriver. MJF then pinches to take the 3/2 advantage on the scoreboard.

While there are 12 minutes left, Bryan Danielson projects MJF in Superplex then he performs a Diving Headbutt. Bryan Danielson rings MJF with a Buzaiko Knee then he performs a Regal Stretch to equalize 3/3 by submission thanks to the abandonment of his opponent.

While there are 2 minutes 30 left, MJF manages to land a Piledriver from the second rope on Bryan Danielson. MJF took a while to regain his senses and he pinned, but Bryan Danielson resisted and then surprised him with a Single Leg Boston Crab. Bryan Danielson maintains the hold, but MJF resists until the end of the clock.

As both men come to their senses, Tony Schiavone through Justin Roberts announces that Tony Khan doesn’t want the fight to end in a draw, so we’ll have sudden death.

At the end of the match, MJF hits Bryan Danielson with an oxygen cylinder without being seen by the referee and then he gives him a Lebell Lock. Despite a good resistance, Bryan Danielson ends up giving up.

Winner: MJF (4-3)
