In just a few years, the giants of affordable ready-to-wear have established themselves in the interior decoration sector. Customers meet the appointment.
You know them for fashion, but the affordable ready-to-wear giants also do decoration. Their 100% in-house boutique is ever more numerous. They offer trendy and designer objects with the promise of low prices. A few months ago, a major retail brand opened its first store in a chic district of Paris, near the Opera. With this 300 m² store, and thirty others in the pipeline, the French company is investing in a sector which is growing by 30% each year since Covid.
An expanding market
The items are less expensive than in high-end stores, but still remain in the mid-price range. Average prices for collections created with major designers. Even professionals are won over. The market for interior decoration in France today represents nearly 13 billion euros.
