The video shows that the man, Wang Bingfei, who committed domestic violence, hit his wife on the head for several minutes, while she was trying to protect their child.
Later, according to “Russia Today”, a post spread on the Internet, allegedly written by “Wang’s” wife, saying that “Wang” had been physically abusing her since their marriage years ago.
Activists condemned Wang’s behavior and strongly criticized the phenomenon of domestic violence. Some netizens who claimed to be Wang’s co-workers said the man appeared to be “modest and nice” at work, and they were shocked to find out that he had committed domestic violence.
Meanwhile, the Pacquiao Police Branch of the Xi’an Public Security Administration issued a statement on Saturday, saying that Wang’s wife reported the incident to the police last Wednesday night.
The police found that the couple entered into a dispute over housework, and the wife’s words and actions escalated the conflict between them, causing domestic violence, and the wife suffered some soft tissue injuries, and the husband was later placed in administrative detention for five days.
