The 39-year-old murderer of 28-year-old Kyriaki was transferred to the Psychiatric Clinic of Korydallos Prisons, in a “special relaxation room” outside the Agioi Anargyro Police Station on Monday night (1.4.24).
The 39-year-old perpetrator of the femicide in Agios Anargyros with a victim of 28-year-old Sunday was discharged from Tzanio, where he was hospitalized, at noon on Monday.
The 39-year-old murderer was transferred to a specially designed room in the psychiatric ward of Korydallos prisons, where there is a camera for his constant surveillance. According to information, the toilet will be locked and will go in the presence of a guard.
The discharge from the Tzanio hospital came with a paper stating that the perpetrator is facing psychiatric problems and his sessions with a psychiatrist in the prisons are expected from tomorrow Tuesday.
The employees who have interacted with him, report that he is confused and does not have the awareness that the awarded step was made inside the prison. He thinks, as they say, that he has done it outside the prisons.
In addition, the 39-year-old maintains that he does not remember the moment of the attack on the 28-year-old, repeating, in the present tense, that “on Sunday I love her”, which shows that he does not have full awareness of what exactly has happened.
It is recalled that the 39-year-old was initially hospitalized at the Attica hospital, intubated, after the suicide attempt he made using the gauze he had from his self-injury outside the AT.
After he was extubated, he was examined by a psychiatrist, who, however, failed to assess his condition, since the perpetrator showed poor cooperation and answered the questions monotonically or with meanings.
