Today, Thursday, the head of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Hadi Al-Amiri, and the Speaker of the Jordanian Parliament, Ahmed Al-Safadi, discussed developments in Iraq and the region.
Al-Amiri’s office said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “the head of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Hadi Al-Amiri, received in his office in Baghdad today, the Speaker of the Jordanian Parliament, Ahmed Al-Safadi, and his accompanying delegation, which included diplomats and heads of blocs in the Jordanian parliament.”
He added that “a number of files of common interest were discussed, including developments in the situation in Iraq, Jordan and the countries of the region,” noting that “ways to develop economic and trade relations were discussed for the benefit of the two countries.”
“At the end of the meeting, the Jordanian delegation extended an official invitation to Al-Amiri to visit Amman,” he added.
