A statement by Al-Halbousi’s office, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that “Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi visits the Safwan port to see the flow and facilitate the entry of expatriates from the sister Gulf Arab countries participating in the Gulf Championship 25, where he praised the cadres working throughout the day in order to provide All facilities.
He added, “During the visit, the Speaker of Parliament was accompanied by the Governor of Basra, Asaad Al-Eidani, and the Director of Border Crossings, Major General Omar Al-Waeli.”
