The General Authority for Audio-Visual Media, in cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce, announced a decision to fine an Arab Snapchat celebrity, for violating a number of regulations.
The penalties included a fine of 400,000 riyals, stopping her from practicing in the Kingdom, and a circular banning dealing with the advertiser, and referring her and the facility to the committee to consider violating the e-commerce system.
The authority stated that the observed violations are violating the audio-visual media system, violating the anti-smoking system, violating the e-commerce system, and doing business without a license.
