Al-Qahtani reveals a “cheap” herbal plant that lowers cholesterol and treats chronic constipation and cough

Al-Marsad newspaper: Dr. Jaber Al-Qahtani, an expert in medical drugs, revealed the amazing benefits of the calf, for which the Kingdom is famous.

Al-Qahtani said, in a tweet via his Twitter account, “The calf is the tongue of the plantain and it is the seed of cotton, and the Kingdom is famous for this plant, and it has distinct uses, and it is widely used.”

He pointed out: “The solution of the leaves is used as a repellent for phlegm, hoarseness and bronchitis, and it is an excellent remedy for coughing. As for the seeds, they are used as a laxative and have no side effects.”

He continued, “The calf seeds, or what is known as psyllium seeds, are good for treating chronic constipation, and the seeds also help lower cholesterol in the blood.”
