Al-Ramtha team was crowned champion of the Jordanian Super Cup after defeating its counterpart Al-Faisaly, 2-0, in the match that brought the two teams together, on Tuesday evening, at Amman Stadium.

The first goal of Ramtha came in the 13th minute with a superb header by Coulibaly.

Hamza Al-Dardour added the second goal from a wonderful start to Al-Faisaly’s goal, to enter the net in the 63rd minute.

The two teams meet for the Jordanian Super Cup after Al-Ramtha won the league title last season, and Al-Faisaly was crowned with the Super Cup.

Al-Faisaly won the Jordanian Super Cup 17 times, which is the most winning team, and the last version it held was in 2019.

Ramtha won the Super Cup only twice, in 1983 and 1990, to add the third title, today.

The two teams met, on March 19, in the Al-Quds and Al-Karama Championship, and Al-Faisaly won 2-0, other than that Al-Faisaly won the Jordanian Federation Shield by defeating Al-Ramtha in the final 1-0.

Al-Ramtha did not win in the last 6 meetings it collected in Al-Faisaly, and Al-Ramtha did not shake the nets of Al-Faisaly in the last 4 meetings.

12 teams will participate in the Jordanian League this season, namely: Ramtha, Al Wihdat, Salt, Al Faisali, Al Hussein Irbid, Shabab Al Jordan, Al Jazira, Shabab Aqaba, Sahab, Maan, Mugheer Al Sarhan and Al Sareeh.

Al-Wehdat is absent from the first three rounds, due to its departure to Saudi Arabia to participate in the AFC Champions League, to return and start its career in the fourth round.
