The Ministry of Social Solidarity, led by Dr. Nevin Al-Qabbaj, Minister of Solidarity, begins receiving requests from members of civil associations wishing to perform the Hajj for the Hajj season 1443 AH – 2022 AD, starting from next Sunday, corresponding to April 24, 2022 AD, until next May 12 .
The pilgrimage of associations this year included a number of conditions that must be met by the person wishing to perform the pilgrimage this year, including being registered with the membership of one of the NGOs when submitting the application and paying the annual subscription for the association.
And that the association was registered before 1/1/2022 and no penalties were imposed on the association as a result of violations proven against it.
Also, the applicant wishing to perform the Hajj has never before throughout his life, and the age of the applicant should not be more than 65 years, in addition to the applicant having obtained one of the approved vaccines for the Corona virus, and to be able to perform the rituals and free from incurable diseases determined by the Ministry of Health, and applications are submitted. The social departments to which the association is affiliated, according to the form prepared for this.
All data of pilgrims wishing to perform the Hajj will also be recorded on the Egyptian unified Hajj portal.
A member is only allowed to register in one entity only, whether in Solidarity, the Ministry of Interior or Tourism.
The electronic lottery will be conducted on the portal centrally to select the winning pilgrims for all governorates according to the percentage of the number of applications submitted in each governorate and is scheduled for the middle of next month.
