Alberto Fernández: “I am waiting for Justice to call the white-collar thieves to account”

President Alberto Fernandez pointed out once again against the judicial times or the lack of intervention in the cases that involve officials of the management of let’s change the former president Mauricio Macri. “I am hoping that one day Justice will call those white-collar thieves to account for what they have done,” he said in the framework of an act that led by the start of the works of the Cañuelas Variant.

“May a judge ever call those thieves and ask them for explanations for the debt that they took on behalf of Argentina”, added the president, referring to the loan for 45,000 million dollars granted by the International Monetary Fund (FMI).

“And I’m waiting for those thieves to be called to explain the cause of the Wind farmsthe scam Argentine Mail, the scam with the tolls. I am waiting for the Justifica to dignify herself and call those white-collar thieves, the powerful ones, to account,” she added.

In this sense, the head of state assured that “it is time that, once and for all, we get tired of hearing so many lies in the media. Let us get tired of listening to these scoundrels who led the country to ruin.”

Fernández led the act together with the Minister of Public Works, Gabriel Katopodisand the governor Axel Kicillof, in which work began on the Cañuelas Bypass, which is part of the project to transform National Route 3 into a highway, between Cañuelas and Azul.

The project will require an investment of around 5,628 million pesos. This is one of the six initiatives that were part of the Public-Private Participation (PPP) contracting modality promoted by the previous government and that, after two years, only had an execution of 2%.

“It will go down in history as one of the biggest scams and one of the great fiascoes of macrismo. It was voting that public works were no longer going to be done by the State. They got into debt, the money ran away, they ran out of budget, the IMF arrived, imposed an adjustment and they were left without works. So they announced this marketing invention, but they did not specify even 2%. It was to privatize, foreignize and indebt the country: the perfect synthesis of what they did in the Nation and the Province for four years,” said the Buenos Aires governor.

In December 2020, these agreements were terminated by the Ministry of Public Works in agreement with the companies. With an extension of 9.59 km, the work will generate 150 jobs, and will benefit 9,500 vehicles that will pass through it per day. The new section will have two 3.65 meter wide lanes per lane, a 9.10 meter central flower bed, and paved shoulders on both sides.

Regarding the work, the President stressed that the state is “to work and restore balance.” “There are things that the market does not resolve, such as what is not profitable,” she stressed. And he questioned that “those who trusted in the market, left us without universities, without schools, without health and without roads. They only think that Argentina can progress by taking away rights from Argentine men and women”.

“We have come to offer our hearts, so that Argentina stands up, gets up, works and walks, and we are going to do it together with all the companions,” the president reviewed about the end.
