Indonesian women’s tennis player Aldila Sutjiadi and her Japanese partner Miyu Kato prepare to face Japanese women’s doubles Makoto Ninomiya/Eri Hozumi in the first round of the 2024 Miami Open in Florida, United States.

“We are ready to face this match. We have trained hard and we know what we have to do,” said Aldila in an official statement received in Jakarta.

Both of them admitted that they already had thorough preparations to face the Sakura Country pair who are known to be tough.

“Ninomiya and Hozumi are a tough pair, but we are sure we can play better,” said Aldila.

Aldila is optimistic about this match after showing good performance in the last few tournaments, even winning the Thailand Open 2024 with Kato. The pair reached 16 at Indian Wells 2024.

This year, Aldila has a busy match schedule, starting from the Australian Open grand slam tournament, winning the Thailand Open and competing in various tournaments in the Middle East, including WTA 1000 Dubai, WTA 500 Abu Dhabi, WTA 1000 Doha, and finally the Indian Wells WTA 1000 .

Aldila hopes that the Indonesian people will continue to support him so that he can win many titles and make Indonesia proud on the international tennis stage.
