Preacher, model, entrepreneur and role actress Oki Setiana Dewi has taken the big decision to gradually move with her family to Egypt after carrying out the Hajj pilgrimage this year.

Not without reason, the 35 year old woman revealed that Egypt is a special place for her and her small family. He and his children have visited the land of a thousand towers several times.

“Egypt is special, which I can’t explain, different from other countries. “The children have also often been taken to Egypt and (had) a month in Egypt, so the children have experience about Egypt,” said the woman who graduated from UIN Jakarta in Jakarta, Tuesday (19/3).

Regarding this move, Oki Setiana Dewi has been planning it for a long time, two years ago, for her Egypt is a suitable country for her family to study Islam. He has also thought about various matters for his children, from education, home to income and activities to continue his preaching.

“The reason why we want to move to Egypt is actually not suddenly, in fact this has been prepared for years. “Because we want to study in a place that we as a family think is a good place and has lots of teachers to go to,” he explained.

Furthermore, Oki revealed that the process of moving his family would take place in stages. In the initial stage, Oki will first move with his two children, Maryam and Khadeejah. Then she will be followed by her husband, Ory Vitrio, and their two sons, Ibrahim and Sulaiman.

Apart from that, Oki also admitted that he had been captivated by Egypt since he played in the film When Love Bertasbih in 2008. In this film, he played one of the main characters, namely Anna, a student at Al Azhar.

“The existence of a top university, namely Al Azhar and there are many scholars there, there are also many Indonesians, which made me feel at home every time I went to Egypt and finally I was convinced to move to Egypt. “There are also many great religious teachers there who will make it easier for me to introduce Islam to my children and make the children religious experts,” he said.

Nevertheless, the mother of three children admitted that even though she would later move to Egypt, she would still go back and forth from Egypt to Indonesia to take care of several things because she had not completely left her job in Indonesia as a preacher or entrepreneur. Ria Ricis’s older brother is known to have an Islamic boarding school and a number of businesses that are still active in Indonesia.

“God willing, if there is good fortune, we will definitely go back and forth to Indonesia because there are still many things in Indonesia, of course if there is preaching, if there is some work, there are some businesses that still need to be monitored and attended to,” he explained.

Ria Ricis’ older brother admitted that he deliberately brought his young children to move to live in Egypt. Because that way Oki children can adapt more easily and can learn Arabic earlier while living in Egypt.

“I think it’s much better (when the child is still small). Because the faster it is, the easier it is to absorb the lessons. “It could be that at what age the children will be able to move,” said Oki.

Oki has also communicated this to his children and extended family, so that his extended family has known about his decision. In this case, the family welcomed the decision.

“Communicate with the children, ‘in two years we will move to Egypt’ ‘Children, in four months we will move to Egypt’ so we tell the children, so they won’t be surprised because in my opinion, if there is an opportunity from an early age, they can move, why not? ? “In order to learn earlier, children learn languages, especially languages, faster,” he explained.

Oki explained that over the past two years he had made several preparations regarding moving to Egypt. These preparations include financial, scientific (language) and also mental.

“Including preparing the house while living in Egypt. Then, to prepare for knowledge, the children and husband have been studying Arabic for the past two months. “I myself am also now learning to become fluent in Arabic,” he said. (Z-3)
