Alexander Zverev confidently cleared his opening hurdle at the ATP Masters in Miami. The fourth-seeded Hamburger, who only had to enter the second round thanks to a bye, defeated the world number 36. Felix Auger-Aliassime (Canada) 6:2, 6:4.
Zverev’s opponent in the third round is the American Christopher Eubanks.

Jan-Lennard Struff (Warstein) became the third German to reach the third round of the ATP Masters in Miami. Struff, seeded at number 24, defeated his compatriot Daniel Altmaier (Kempen) 6:3, 6:3 and followed Zverev and Koepfer (Furtwangen) into the round of the best 32.
The 33-year-old will now face the winner of the duel between Alex de Minaur (Australia/No.9) and Kwon Soon Woo (South Korea).
