Finally, Alianza Lima had a favorable ruling and ended up playing in League 1, while the northern cast was sent to play in League 2.
Faced with this fact, the Lambayeque club did not sit idly by and appealed the TAS resolution to the Swiss Federal Court. After a long time, this entity made public the final status of the appeal filed by Stein and declared it inadmissible.
The body explained that the appeal of the Carlist cadre it did not proceed due to non-payment by the plaintiff (Carlos Stein), since 22,000 Swiss francs were not paid.
In this way, the judicial issue between Alianza Lima and Carlos Stein came to an end. The Swiss Federal Court is the last instance to hear sports legal cases.
