Alkolenker fell asleep after an accident with a small truck in St. Pölten

According to police reports, the officers were presented with a strange scene: the right side of the vehicle including the front tire was badly damaged, the vehicle was lifted using a jack and the wheel nut wrench was still in place.

According to the investigations, the driver probably drove from the Schießstattring onto Hötzendorfstrasse, turned around there and drove the small truck back against the one-way road. A street stand is said to have been damaged in an underpass.

Driving license taken away

The vehicle and the driver sleeping in the driver’s seat were spotted in a parking bay around 4 a.m. The man from the Mistelbach district had his driver’s license temporarily confiscated, and several charges of administrative offenses followed.
