Al-Marsad newspaper: Article 75 of the traffic system was amended by Royal Decree No. (M/115) dated 12/5/1439 AH.
The period of payment of the violation
The amendment of Article 75 stipulates that if the period prescribed for objecting to the violation has passed as stipulated in Paragraph (1) of this Article without objection, or if the competent court rejects the objection of the violator, or if a judgment is issued to amend the amount of the fine resulting from the violation recorded against him, then The violator must pay the fine within a period not exceeding (15) days, and the violator may submit, during this article, a request to be granted a period of time not exceeding (90) to pay the fine.
Reservation of bank balances
The amendment included that if the violator did not pay within the specified period, his bank account balances may be seized and executed directly according to a mechanism set by the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Finance, the Saudi Central Bank, and the Board of Grievances. The Ministry of Interior, in agreement with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministerial Committee for Traffic Safety, determines the violations that do not apply to seizure and direct execution, and that do not endanger public safety.

The amendment included that the payment of the value of the traffic fine may be divided for one violation, and the value of the traffic fine may also be reduced by a percentage not exceeding (25%) of its minimum value, in accordance with regulations set by the Minister of Interior in agreement with the Minister of Finance.
