Die Alpla Group announces the appointment of Tasos Pourloukakis as new Regional Managing Director North America. He takes over the management of the business in this region for the packaging manufacturer.
Tasos Pourloukakis was previously Country Managing Director at Alpla UK and brings a combined 16 years of manufacturing and quality management experience gained both at Alpla and another industry leader.

“In addition to his many years of management experience as Alpla Country Manager in Great Britain, he has a broad background knowledge in many different business areas of the packaging industry. This makes him the ideal person to decisively advance our expansion course on the US market,” says Alpla CEO Philip Lehner to order Pourloukakis.
Prior to joining Alpla, Tasos Pourloukakis worked at packaging manufacturer Crown Holdings in the UK and Dubai (UAE), most recently as Plant Manager at a major UK specialty packaging site, where he was responsible for all activities including manufacturing, quality, engineering, HSE, logistics and Finance was responsible. During this time he has held positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of quality, continuous improvement, operations and health and safety.
