Al-Marsad newspaper: Al-Arabiya TV published a report showing the transfer of a citizen with muscular dystrophy to his home, which he left 22 years ago, to see his sister, who suffers from the same disease, in the Al-Baha region.

The patient, Abdullah Al-Zahrani, expressed his happiness at being transferred home, stressing that his feeling is indescribable.

Umm Abdullah said that she was happy to see her son, and she chanted, “Praise be to God,” noting that she was waiting for his arrival.

For his part, Dr. Samir Al-Shahrani, Director General of Health Affairs in Al-Baha, said, “communication has been made with the ministries and relevant authorities, such as the Ministry of Human Resources and the governorate, and a directive was issued by the Emir of Al-Baha region, to find out about this case, and this initiative will be a seed for following up on other cases.”

She added, the nurse, Nujoud Al-Dhubyani, that we coordinated with all the concerned authorities inside the hospital, in order to improve the quality of the patient and his family.
