The People’s Power, which has switched to the emergency response committee system, is concentrating on normalizing the party by introducing the first innovation plan.

However, the conflict and noise surrounding former CEO Lee Jun-seok still continue.

The People’s Power Innovation Committee presented the first innovation plan.

In the meantime, the Nomination Management Committee has exercised all of its powers regarding nominations, and among them, it has decided to hand over the authority to review candidates to the Party Ethics Committee.

“It would be better if you understand that (among the authority of nomination) the authority regarding ineligibility has been dispersed. And for that purpose, in order to strengthen the independence of the Ethics Committee, the tenure of the Ethics Committee will be slightly extended…”

The issue of expanding the nomination qualification test introduced by CEO Lee Jun-seok was put on hold after much debate.

The so-called ‘Lee Jun-seok Innovation Committee’ was announced amid concerns within the party, starting with the least controversial issues.

Vice Chairman Ho-Young Joo also seems to be putting power on the innovation committee, but former CEO Jun-Seok Lee pointed out, “Innovation requires great courage.” “Is there anything like that in Chairman Joo’s political history?”

“If you want to put forward the banner of innovation, you have to be able to talk about the power appropriate for it. What many people are pointing to as the object of innovation now is the presidential office and communication culture.”

It also continued the offensive against the so-called Yoon nuclear officers, who are key aides of President Yun Seok-yeol.

Ex-CEO Lee, citing media reports that Yoon Hek-kwan intervened in the police investigation related to his sexual harassment allegations, set the day, saying, “It was expected, but it is absurd to even testify.”

However, Rep. Yoon Hek-kwan, who was pointed out by Lee’s side, countered in a call with MBC, saying, “I think the investigation results are coming soon, so it seems like they are trying to create a frame of police pressure.”
