Artist and writer Georges Khabbaz expressed his happiness at the launch of the series “Brando Al Sharq” on the Shahid platform, on the sidelines of his attendance at the red carpet ceremony that was held at Cinema Akil in Dubai.
Khabbaz confirmed during his interview with “Fuchsia” that the new series combines all the conditions for excellence to be different, and as he put it, he did not choose the artist Amal Arafa to participate, but rather chose each other, since they have been thinking about working together for a long time, and the idea has become appropriate with the presence of a large company such as Al-Sabah Company and a producer such as Amin Dora and a reliable platform such as the Shahid platform for presenting work,
It is mentioned that the artist George Khabbaz represents the character of Youssef, a character full of dramatic contradictions between the past and the present, and he tries to prove himself, and in fact he is looking for himself all the time. Circumstances force Youssef to work in a studio that deals with renting cinematic equipment, where he meets his colleague Salwa (Amal Arafa), and he imagines the latter as the heroine in front of him, as she is his companion and friend, who always helps him, regardless of whether the love relationship between them is going right or not.
The work includes a group of Lebanese and Syrian actors, including George and Amal, Camille Salama, Jihad Saad, Zina Makki, Talal Al-Jurdi, Elie Mitri, Fouad Yammine, Laura Khabbaz, Mia Said, Aliko Daoud, Aline Ahmar, and with the participation of Cynthia Karam, Joseph Sassin, May Sahab, Ghassan Attia, Mohamed Shams, Maria Tannouri, and with guests of honor Abdel Moneim Amairi, Saeed Sarhan, Mohamed Aqil, Emile Shaheen.
