Presentation of the Amazfit Bip 5
Amazfit recently launched its new smartwatch Amazfit Bip 5. This is an advanced wearable product with long battery life, built-in microphone, new health indicators. And like all connected watches, it is a fitness tracker with a multitude of dials watch, etc.

Equipped with a 1.91 inch screenlike the Huawei Watch GT 2e and the Amazfit Bip U Pro, it is capable of providing sufficient image quality. The TFT screen has a 320 x 380 resolution pixels. In terms of battery life, the Amazfit brand competes with the giants of the smartwatch industry like Apple et Samsung. While their connected watches often need to be recharged after 24 hoursthe Bip 5 can perfectly operate for several days.
Intensive use test
During our test of the Amazfit Bip 5, our model was able to hold 5 days in intensive use conditions. Which is not bad, because she was able to do the heart rate tracking full-time, a sleep tracking activated and one hour call Bluetooth.

Battery life in energy saving mode

There are therefore many variables that can affect battery life during prolonged use. Otherwise, regarding recharging, it is easy. It took approximately 50 minutes to make the battery full from about 5% battery remaining.
Verdict
Ultimately, the Amazfit BIP 5 is therefore a good update of BIP 3 from last year. Adding integrated GPS makes the difference, and the bigger screen is more easy to read. One more great autonomy is always useful. But the speaker volume is too low for calls. Regardless, the price of the smartwatch remains affordable.
At its current price, the watch is packed with top-notch features and a quality of impeccable manufacturing. However, there are slight flaws like difficulty attaching the bracelet, and more making it less attractive. But these flaws are made up for by its other qualities.
If Amazfit had offered an AMOLED display and better Bluetooth calling function, this smartwatch would have been the best choice in the market. But the LCD screen is quite simple. Il however works very well and the trackers are equally accurate.
If you don’t need GPS, Amazfit offers its own POP3S and POP 3R models equipped with an AMOLED screen with lower price. If you need GPS, but no calls, there is the Amazfit GTS 2 at a slightly higher price with an AMOLED display and 3GB of music storage.
