Coober Pedy; A habitable city built underground by humans in search of gems

In the video, a young woman gives an elephant a ripe banana to eat. Having bought the fruit by the trunk, the elephant throws it on the ground and first cuts it in two. Then each piece is taken to the trunk and the skin is peeled off. The video also shows the elephant eating only the fruit after throwing away the skin. Later, when the elephant was given two overripe fruits, the elephant threw them away without eating them. Thirdly the elephant is given a green fruit which the elephant swallows whole without peeling it. Finally, there is a video of Pang Pha elephant eating fruit in the middle of a herd of elephants.

In the video, Pang Fa quickly devours as much fruit as he wants, then peels off the last fruit and savors it. In the paper, the researchers attribute this characteristic of Pang Fa to the fact that the elephant may have learned this method through continuous observation during association with humans.
