Yesterday, Saturday, the American Ford Motor Company honored the Yemeni American, Abdul Razzaq Al-Dubaili, one of the company’s oldest employees.

The tribute came to the Yemeni Abdul Razzaq, following he spent 50 years working in the auto industry (Ford) since the moment he arrived in Michigan in the seventies of the last century.

Al-Dubaili appeared, on a photograph, with the latest version of the Ford four-wheel drive behind him, in his hands a certificate of honor and a shield commending the work following nearly 50 years of service and work for the company.

Al-Dubaili is one of hundreds of Yemenis and Arabs who work and were and still are a mainstay for the advancement of the auto industry in the US state of Michigan, according to Yemeni activists residing in America.
