ASRock Blazing Quad M.2 : no more storage problem with ASRock

This PCIe Gen5 expansion card can support four SSDs up to 25110 format. These four SSDs can theoretically deliver up to 128 GB/s of bandwidth. However, such speeds are not yet achieved for commercially available SSDs, but theoretically the expansion card that ASRock offers us will support them.

Installation is as simple as placing an SSD on a motherboard. Simply connect the SSD in its slot and screw the screw into the thread corresponding to the size. Then, in order to provide the necessary power to each SSD, you must connect a 6-pin power cable from its power supply. All this having taken care to close the cover before installing the hardware in your computer. Moreover, this cover has two fans whose speed can be regulated via the PWM cable. It should also be noted that the system only occupies one PCIe slot.

Finally, the brand presented this card at the same time as the platform W790 from Intel which offers 112 PCIe Gen5 lanes. This theoretically allows up to seven such cards to be connected in a single configuration. A use that will mainly address professionals with such needs. The card measures 24.3 cm in length and 12.6 cm in width. Finally, we do not yet have a price or availability date for this new product from ASRock. But we will come back to you as soon as we have the information.
