Some of the possible future features of the WhatsApp include a new button that will allow send photos in high qualityas well as the sending up to 100 media all at once, according to new messenger tests.
The first appeal, as disclosed by the WABetaInfowill allow users to more granularly adjust the quality of a photo to be uploaded from a new button in the image editor.
It is worth noting that, currently, there is already a tweak within the WhatsApp Settings (Storage & Data ยป Media File Quality) that allows you to define the quality of the media to be sent; however, the new button will allow you to change this individually.
According to WABetaInfo, however, even the option to send the image in high quality will still compress the image. According to them, the feature that will limit the original quality to 90% while preserving its dimensions.
The second functionality being tested will allow users to send up to 100 media at once โ currently, the limit is up to 30 media โ, as also seen by WABetaInfo.
There is no information on when the aforementioned features will be released to everyone – if WhatsApp decides to make them available, in fact.
