Andrea Torre rang the bell as a sign of having emerged victorious in the fight against cancer; The 33-year-old actress surprised her followers by sharing that she suffered from breast cancer and that she undertook a fight against the disease from which she emerged victorious.
The actress from “A Family of Ten” detailed in an emotional video how she experienced some moments fighting this disease in which her husband, producer Pedro Torre, was a great support.
The host and mother of two children kept it a secret that she suffered from breast cancer. It was until a few hours ago that she revealed it through her social networks along with some important moments of this fight that began four months ago a year.
The battle that Andrea Torre undertook to defeat her mother’s cancer was not easy. She explained that although it was strong news, she decided to take it with attitude to be able to move forward and face 18 chemotherapies, one surgery, 16 radiotherapies and 12 immunotherapies.
“I would like to talk to you about something that changed my life from one moment to the next. A year and 4 months ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer, strong news that I took with a good attitude to move forward, after 18 chemotherapies, 1 operation, 16 radiotherapies and 12 immunotherapies I managed to overcome this disease, this journey brought out the strength and courage that I didn’t know I had, it changed my perspective on many things and my life definitely took a 360 degree turn,” he wrote along with an emotional video.

The material shows moments in which Torre receives the treatment, moments in which he is receiving support and love from his family and friends and when the great moment arrives of celebrating being free of the disease.
Andrea Torres thanked her husband and the medical team that took care of her to endure this complicated moment, and recalled that if the disease is detected in time it can be curable.
“Thanks to my husband (without you I would not have made it, I love you @pedrodepinedo), my children, my family, friends, my team of doctors and the nurses who took care of me, this fight was more bearable. Thank you! With faith, hope and a lot of love, you can always find the engine to move forward. If it is detected in time, it is curable. Don’t forget to get checked and go to an oncologist. Let’s celebrate life!” he wrote.
