Anil Antony again against the BBC; ‘Given news questioning Indian sovereignty’

Thiruvananthapuram: Anil Antony, son of senior Congress leader AK Antony, is again against the BBC. Anil accused that BBC is the media that has published the Indian map without Kashmir many times and BBC has given news many times in the past questioning the sovereignty of India.

Anil’s tweet shared the news that BBC had done earlier questioning India’s internal security. Congress party, senior leader Jairam Ramesh, who had earlier criticized Anil, and Congress digital media wing chairperson Supriya Srinathe were also tagged in the tweet.

Earlier, Anil Antony’s tweet against the BBC’s ‘India: The Modi Question’ documentary, which referred to the Gujarat riots and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was a big discussion. Senior leader AK Antony’s son came out criticizing the BBC documentary criticizing Narendra Modi in the Gujarat riots while the Congress and Rahul Gandhi were supporting it.

KPCC Digital Media Cell Convenor Anil Antony’s tweet on that day said that it is dangerous for Indians to prioritize BBC’s view over Indian institutions. Later, Congress leaders rejected Anil. Anil Anthony resigned from the post of digital media cell convener after the BJP discussed the remark at the national level as well.
