In the second match of the quarter-final series, the Vilnius team lost 2:10 away against the “Mogo/LSPA” team and suffered a second defeat in the series. Trailing 0-2 in the three-game winning streak, 7bet-Hockey Punks have no room for error – any loss would end their season.
Despite the huge lead of the Latvians in the first half and two goals scored in just six minutes, after twenty minutes of the game, only one goal separated the teams. However, the representatives of Riga answered all the questions regarding the outcome of the match by scoring five unanswered goals in the second half. Finally, in the third quarter, Mogo/LSPA increased their lead even more.
Aleksandras Bishkinis and Krišjanis Redlihas scored three goals each for the Latvian club on Friday, Gustavas Bergas, Artūras Ozolinšas, Nikas Zile and Reinis Martinšas Lejniekas each sent the puck into the goal. Martynas Miliūnas and Laisvydas Kudrevičius scored goals in the “7be-Hockey Punks” club.
These teams will play the third match of the series on Sunday in Vilnius.
