THE GOVERNMENT is asked to immediately respond to the challenges of sustainable development with work effectiveness in order to realize justice and equitable prosperity for society.

“Congratulations on the inauguration of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka as the 8th President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia. Congratulations on your duties, I hope that government effectiveness can be realized in responding to various challenges in the development process,” said Deputy Chair of the Indonesian People’s Consultative Assembly Lestari Moerdijat in a written statement, Sunday (20/10).

According to Lestari, the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government must be able to work effectively in facing various challenges of sustainable development.

A number of homework that has not been completed, such as the threat of deindustrialization, insignificant improvement in the quality of human resources (HR), the impact of climate change and uneven welfare, said Rerie, Lestari’s nickname, must be a priority and serious attention.

Various challenges in the economic, political, social, cultural and human resources sectors, added Rerie, who is also a legislator from Dapil II Central Java, require immediate action to be overcome.

Rerie emphasized that a balance between physical development and human resources must be achieved in order to be able to respond to global challenges that are full of uncertainty.

Rerie really hopes that the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government can immediately realize their promises to continue the national development process to realize a Golden Indonesia 2045. (RO/Z-1)
