It is unknown what motivated the ex-employee, but he sent more than 10 thousand messages to one of his contacts and “traveled across the entire continent” for a personal meeting with him. The security service revealed Oda in the fall of 2023; during a conversation with employees, the engineer deleted part of the correspondence with journalists and some stolen files.
