Apple would restructure its services following the departure of Peter Stern

At the helm of Apple services for more than six years, Peter Stern leaves Cupertino “to spend more time on the east coast”reports Business Insider. Formerly at Time Warner, the Vice-President of Services worked under the leadership of Eddy Cue and notably worked on the development of Apple Arcade, Apple Books, Apple News+, Apple Fitness+, iCloud+ and the Apple One service package. . It’s a major departure: Apple’s services represent 20% of company revenue.

Peter Stern’s position would not be directly replaced: his responsibilities would be split into three separate divisions, the attributions of which would still be under discussion. Two of the three future managers would in any case already be identified, with Oliver Schusser who is now in charge of Apple Music and Robert Kondrk who occupies a position with the more nebulous title of Vice-President of Product Services and Design.
