Are you planning to play Wrath of the Lick King Classic? -World of Warcraft

Wrath of the Lich King. These words bring back great memories for many WoW players. I still remember arriving in Howling Fjord as a Horde player, while Alliance players were across the continent in the Borean Tundra.

Some areas marked the players, like Zul’Drak (more of a city than a normal area) or the Grisons and its formidable descent of the river on a tree trunk. As a reminder, you have to go to the Blue Sky Slaughter Camp and talk to an NPC (if I remember correctly) to get started.

The expansion also rolled out numerous dungeons including the Nexus, Gundrak, and Stratholme Purification. And let’s not even talk about Ulduar, still considered one of the best raids in the history of World of Warcraft.

WotLK also brought the achievement system, Death Knight, Inscription, 10 or 25 player raids as well as Heroic mode, quest phasing and more.

However, this all goes back a long way now. The expansion has been out for over 13 years and our memories are getting more and more clouded over the years. With a release date scheduled for 2022, WotLK Classic will nevertheless make it possible to relive all this in an accelerated way through different phases.

Will you be one of the players heading to Northrend, perhaps while waiting for Dragonflight to arrive? The timing might not be bad because while some players will be busy with Season 4 of Shadowlands, many others will be patiently waiting for new content to arrive. However, your subscription will allow you to take advantage of WotLK.

Anyway, I come to my question, which you can answer in the comments or via the poll below: Do you intend to play WotLK Classic?
