Dubuffet, Léger, Redon, Saint Phalle, Zadkine or Picasso… Works by great names in art, from all periods and styles, are on sale Tuesday September 26 and Wednesday September 27, 2023 at the Hôtel Drouot in Paris.
The actor, accused of rape and sexual assault by several women, sells 250 paintings, drawings and sculptures, presented to the public this Monday before the sale.
Between €500,000 and €800,000
It took no less than four pieces to exhibit the Depardieu collection: three bronzes by Rodin acquired following the filming of Camille Claudel, a terracotta sculpture by Ossip Zadkine, etchings by Joan Miro… One of these pieces , a bronze by Germaine Richier, is estimated between €500,000 and €800,000. This is one of the key pieces of the sale.
