Assassin’s Creed Jade is revealed in a 20-minute video, a future box in sight

Assassin’s Creed Jade will be a mobile-only component. It is revealed today in a long sequence of gameplay and one thing is certain, it will have nothing to envy to classic episodes like Origins, Odyssey or Valhalla.

Last September, Ubisoft lifted the veil on its next installments of Assassin’s Creed. If Mirage, the “classic” opus scheduled for 2023, has taken up all the space, other projects have also been announced. Among them, Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade. We can today discover it on video.

Assassin’s Creed Jade is a slightly different project in the saga. It is indeed Ubisoft’s very first AAA planned exclusively for mobile. Like Blizzard with Diablo Immortal, the French studio is looking to develop a “real” gamer blockbuster for iOS and Android.

Assassin’s Creed Jade shows up on video

It’s a habit at Ubisoft, but the game has leaked. In a long video, we can discover the gameplay of this Assassin’s Creed Jade. The least we can say is that it has nothing to envy to the classic episodes of the saga, such as Origins, Odyssey or Valhalla. We have a “real” AC in the open world! It will transport us to 3rd century China.

It should be noted that this video is not official, therefore stolen. It comes from the alpha and does not represent the final game which will certainly be further improved in the future. Nevertheless, it shows a fairly advanced title in its development, so we can expect a release sometime in 2023.

A second four-minute video has also been released online, showing the game in an even more convincing state. If we remove the touch buttons on the screen, it looks like an episode on PS4 or Xbox One. Bluffing.

As a reminder, Ubisoft will rely heavily on its license in the coming years. In addition to this Jade, three other opuses are planned. Mirage in 2023, of course, but also Assassin’s Red, which will take place in Japan, and Assassin’s Creed Hexe, a very mysterious project which should take place in the Renaissance.
