The Assassin’s Creed license celebrates its 15th anniversary. For the occasion, Ubisoft unveiled a very special showcase to promote not an Assassin’s Creed game, but rather 4 new titles (and another, but it’s special… Well, you’ll see). We offer you in this video 5 things to know about this series.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage, back to basics
Ubisoft is off to a strong start by offering Assassin’s Creed Mirage, a highly anticipated game under the sign of a return to basics. As explained in the video, we find ourselves in Baghdad, almost 20 years before the events of Valhalla. We follow the rise of Basim, a wanderer, within the brotherhood, to the status of master assassin. Mirage is therefore a linear opus with less RPG mechanics and focuses on the fundamentals of the license. The game is available later this year 2023 sur PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series, PS4 et PS5.
Assassin’s Creed Red, finally feudal Japan
Ubisoft is finally attacking the Land of the Rising Sun, with Assassin’s Creed Codename Red. It is recalled in the video, but the game is characterized as being an open-world RPG that comes close to Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla. For the moment, very little has been revealed, but enough to know that it will allow us to embody a real shinobi.
Assassin’s Creed Jade, le free-to-play mobile ambitieux
Ubisoft puts the package in mobile games and it does not escape the Assassin’s Creed license since it presents us Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade, a mobile game set in Ancient China. However, there is no connection with Assassin’s Creed Chronicles : China, which takes place well after this period. Everything will be adapted to the touch of the smartphone, with the possibility of customization to create your own assassin.
Assassin’s Creed Hexe, a dark mystery
In parallel with Red, Ubisoft is working on another Assassin’s Creed which is called Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe. No information for the moment on this new game, but the context suggests that the story will take place with witches in an atmosphere that implies the presence of occult forces.
Et Assassin’s Creed Infinity ?
Revealed in 2021, Assassin’s Creed Infinity is the title that seems to embody the future of the license and it will take a particular form. As explained in the video, Infinity will not be a game, but a hub to collect all upcoming Assassin’s Creed experiences from Codename Red. As we can see in the video above, it would rather be our own Animus, which will allow access to several genetic memories and completely revamp the Assassin’s Creed experience, while integrating multiplayer.
