Burglars beat Aubameyang with iron bar
What a shock, what a nightmare!
Ex-BVB star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (33) and his wife Alysha were mugged, attacked and robbed last night at their home in Castelldefels, around 20 kilometers south-west of Barcelona. It is not known whether the couple’s children, Curtys (11) and Pierre (6), were in the house at the time of the robbery.

What happened?
The Spanish newspaper “El Pais” reports that at least four men climbed into the garden of the property in the early hours of the morning, threatened the couple with iron bars and firearms and beat the FC Barcelona striker.
The sports newspaper “El Mundo Deportivo” provides further details: Aubameyang is said to have been hit with an iron bar on the chin, his wife on the head. The couple is also said to have lain on the ground for an hour while the burglars were at work.
The burglars forced Aubameyang to open the safe and stole the family’s jewels before fleeing in a white Audi A3.
Does this shock night make a move back to England more likely? At the very least, one can imagine that the Aubameyangs won’t be feeling too comfortable in their home any time soon.
Auba moved from Arsenal to Barça in February and had signed a contract until 2025. But Chelsea wants to bring the Gabonese back to the island. Manchester United should also show interest.
One thing is clear: Aubameyang will hardly think about football for the time being after this brutal attack!
