Auction of James Bond universe fetches nearly $8 million

Auctions dedicated to the character of James Bond, during which a copy of the “Aston Martin” car used in stunt scenes, was sold for 6.87 million pounds (7.7 million dollars), which is money that will be used to fund associations, according to what the “Christie’s” house announced.

The results of these auctions, which ended Wednesday, surpassed the total proceeds from previous charity auctions related to the James Bond world organized by Christie’s, the auction house announced.

All 61 items sold by Eon Productions, the company that produced the James Bond films, found buyers during this auction, which was held to celebrate the sixtieth anniversary of the series’ launch on cinema screens.
