Avenged Sevenfold, one of the best-known metal bands, is celebrating its 25th anniversary in the music world. However, what is surprising about this news is that the band announced a digital museum as a community map in Fortnite, the giant battle-royale from Epic Games.
The novelty was named “The Museum” and is not just a simple digital exhibition that references the band, as it goes further by showing a virtual experience that combines elements of the “Escape Room” game mode with a lot of immersion.
The project was developed for about a year in collaboration with Ryan McKinnon and now we have an exclusive map designed to deliver experiences that will leave the band’s fans increasingly immersed in their story with the help of content such as some hidden meanings, recordings made exclusively and Easter eggs scattered throughout the museum.
