Avis Expands Avis First Premium Car Rental to Heathrow and Charles de Gaulle Airports

Avis Budget Group has expanded its premium car rental service, Avis First, to London Heathrow and Paris Charles de Gaulle airports, bringing coordinated vehicle delivery, return, and concierge support to more than 30 airports and cities across North America and Europe.

The first class should not end at boarding, said Brian Choi, AD of Avis Budget Group, as the company announced the latest European additions to the app-exclusive program.

Available solely through the Avis mobile app, the service coordinates vehicle drop-offs directly with travelers upon arrival. A dedicated concierge prepares the car ahead of time—including pre-setting the cabin temperature—handles luggage, and assists with mobile phone pairing before the customer drives away.

When returning the vehicle, drivers hand the keys directly to a concierge at the drop-off point and head straight to their terminal. Customers pay only for the fuel they use based on local supplier rates, removing the requirement to refill the tank before handoff.

The expansion builds on a rollout that began in the United States in July 2025. Following the American launch, the service expanded to European transport hubs including Geneva, Rome, Zurich, Munich, Barcelona, and Porto.

Avis is giving travelers more time to explore Europe, eliminating the snags between landing and road departure and between vehicle drop-off and boarding, said Anna Pawlak-Kuliga, Presidente of International at Avis Budget Group.

European Hubs and Service Features

The addition of Heathrow and Charles de Gaulle integrates two international gateways into the Avis First network. The program relies entirely on digital coordination through the mobile application.

Current vehicle fleets feature current-model, fuel-efficient cars selected specifically for the tier. Operations follow a standardized model across all participating locations in North America and Europe.

Company executives confirmed plans to roll out Avis First to additional international airports and metropolitan markets across North America, Europe, and Australasia. Travelers can review current location availability directly through Avis First or explore corporate data via Avis Budget Group.
