Avoid the Eindhoven region due to significant inconvenience due to problems with the gas pipeline

At the end of the morning, the N2 was closed as a precaution. The A2 also closed just following noon. This causes a lot of delays in the region. Road users who need to head south can take a detour via the A73. This also applies to traffic towards Utrecht. We advise you to follow the signs for Nijmegen/Arnhem.

As a result of the closures, there are already several traffic jams around Eindhoven at 2:15 PM:

  • A2: from Maastricht towards Eindhoven – 50 minutes delay from Leende.
  • A2: from Eindhoven towards Maastricht – 60 minutes delay from Batadorp junction.
  • A58: from Tilburg towards Eindhoven – 20 minutes delay from Oirschot.
  • A67: from Venlo towards Eindhoven – 90 minutes delay from Someren.
  • A67: from Belgium towards Eindhoven – 30 minutes delay from Eersel.

We expect the situation with the gas pipeline to last until following the evening rush hour. On this page you will find the current delays and closures.
