FC Seoul will play against Ulsan Hyundai, excluding several key players.

Seoul, led by coach Ahn Ik-soo, will play the 26th round of Hana OneQ K-League 1 2022 against Ulsan led by manager Hong Myung-bo at Munsu Stadium in Ulsan on the 2nd at 8:00 pm. In the first game that resumed after the break, Seoul beat the Pohang Steelers 2-1 to run a straight win.

After winning the last round, coach Ahn Ik-soo said, “The players will still have high expectations. We have to put in more effort,” he said.

Ki Sung-yong, who sent Jo Ji-hoon out due to accumulative warnings, said, “It’s the same role. I hope Ki Seong-yong does that role. He has prepared well.”

Regarding the reason for putting Ilyuchenko on the bench, he said, “I didn’t play many games in Jeonbuk. I can’t help it because my condition isn’t 100% either. Young players and prospects are working hard, so we are waiting.”

Seoul has not been able to win against Ulsan for a long time. Regarding this, he said, “Now I know,” and left a message that he would remember.

Regarding the last-minute goal against Pohang, Ahn said, “It is a problem that needs to be addressed. Efforts need to be made to create a synergistic situation.” Also, to Keijiro, who was substituted in the second half after being put in as a substitute in the first half of the last match, he said, “He understood[the situation]well. I look forward to a good role by working hard without wavering.”
