Mr. Choi said, “Finally, the trademark application came out. Thanks to the long wait of 3 years and the help of many people, the trademark registration certificate finally came to me.”
He said, “The trademark rights that I failed to prepare due to my ignorance became an unbearable result due to belated regret, but I was able to find it with a lot of time and help from many people.” I sincerely thank you,” he said.

Mr. Choi devoted himself to researching recipes in 2020 and developed a menu called ‘Deopjuk’, which received rave reviews from Baek Jong-won. However, after the broadcast, there were people who took the trademark of ‘Deopjuk’ and applied to the Korean Intellectual Property Office, resulting in a legal dispute.
In October 2021, when the plagiarism controversy arose, Baek Jong-won revisited Pohang’s ‘Deopjukjip’ with the SBS production team and tried to solve the problem by meeting with a patent attorney and visiting the Korean Intellectual Property Office, saying, “We must set a good precedent.”
