Bahrain celebrates Women’s Day to mark women’s empowerment

National Women’s Day was celebrated in Bahrain to mark the progress, growth and position achieved by women in the country. Various ministries, government authorities and private institutions duly participated in the celebration of Women’s Day.

In their speeches, various ministers highlighted the advancements and progress of women in various fields. It is an achievement that women have made their mark in all fields. The involvement of women in various social spheres and their progress is enviable.

For their empowerment, the policies and efforts of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Queen Consort and Chairperson of the Bahrain Women’s Supreme Council Princess Sabika bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa have played a major role in the upliftment of Bahraini women. Women employees were also honored at various functions.
