Bancolombia presented functionality in its application

Bancolombia announced that its mobile application will have a new functionality that It will improve the experience of your customers by allowing them to know in detail some characteristics of their account.

According to the financial institution, people who use the bank from their smartphones now they will be able to access information such as plans for their savings and checking accounts, how to modify the conditions or benefits without having to go to a branch or contact an operator.

“This new functionality is intended to provide greater clarity to remind the customer that they are in control. This option will provide accurate and transparent information so that each person understands what they pay to Bancolombia and what he receives in return, and beyond that, so that he can make the decisions that generate greater savings and value,” explained Cristina Arrastía, Vice President of Business at Bancolombia, in a statement.

Through the ‘product detail’ option, located in the ‘Bancolombia App accounts’ section, users will be able to:

  • Find out if your account is exempt or not from the 4×1000 Government tax.
  • See the channels through which they can withdraw cash, either for free or with an associated cost.
  • Know the handling fee they pay.
  • View the means of payment (debit cards, ‘stickers’ or bracelets) that are at your service.
  • Know the plans available and change according to your preferences.

“If the client has a Basic Plan, they will see that they can withdraw their money for free at any of the more than 21,000 Bancolombia Correspondents and that their handling fee is $6,495 per month. In this way, the client will be able to choose to withdraw in the future through that channel, and not through ATMs, that would generate an additional cost”, explained the entity.
